Standard Repair Policy

1. Deposits

  • A $120 deposit is required for each item at drop-off and covers the first 30 minutes of service.

  • Keyboards and synths with more than 36 keys require a $180 deposit and covers the first hour of service.

  • Studio monitors and passive speakers are treated as a pair and require the standard $120 deposit.
     

2. Simple Repairs

  • If the issue can be repaired within the initial service time without additional parts, that’s all you’ll pay.

  • For simple repairs requiring parts with a total cost under $25, we assume pre-approval to proceed without delay.
     

3. Additional Work or Parts

  • If the repair requires parts costing more than $25 and/or additional labor time, we’ll prepare a detailed estimate before continuing.

  • You’ll have the option to approve or decline any additional work.

  • Additional labor is charged at a rate of $120/hr in 15 minute increments
     

4. Rush Service

  • Need it fast? Add Rush Service for $100 (due at drop-off).

  • This guarantees a technician will evaluate your equipment within 24 hours of drop-off.

  • Please note that external factors — such as procurement, shipping times, and part availability — may affect the total repair time.
     

5. Notes

  • Deposits are applied toward the total repair cost.

  • If you decline further work after an estimate, the deposit covers the service time already performed.
